Description

Rockstar BLUESTONE SEALER is a low viscosity sealer that is specifically formulated for use on basaltic bluestone.

USES

Application of BLUESTONE SEALER onto basaltic bluestone pavers enhances the stain resistance of the bluestone surface without changing the colour or texture of the stone. Rockstar BLUESTONE SEALER is ideal for Australian and Chinese sourced stone.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Always apply first to an inconspicuous area or scrap piece of stone to ensure the suitability of this product for your stone.
  2. Ensure the surface to be sealed is free of excess grout and is dry and free of any oils and other surface contaminants.
  3. Apply BLUESTONE SEALER undiluted by lambswool applicator or low pressure hand sprayer. Ensure that the surface is fully saturated without leaving pools of material.
  4. Apply a second coat once the first coat has dried (2-4 hours).
  5. The product will cure in 12-24 hours depending on atmospheric conditions.

COVERAGE

Coverage is dependent on the permeability of the stone or tile and is in the range of 9-11 Mt2 per litre.

PRECAUTIONS

  1. Do not allow pools of liquid BLUESTONE SEALER to dry on the surface. Remove excess liquid with a clean, lint-free cloth.
  2. Avoid contact with skin and eyes by wearing suitable protective gloves and eyewear.
  3. Ensure that there are no sources of ignition in area.

CLEANING

Clean all equipment with mineral turpentine.

PACKAGING

BLUESTONE SEALER is available in 1, 5 and 20 litre packs.

STORAGE

Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place out of reach of children. Keep away from sources of heat, spark and ignition, product is flammable.
